Illegal zone number.

Description:
This error has several different variations of the error such as: -Error getting text data, illegal zone number; no coordinate conversion performed Status: DB_E_MAP_LCS_TO_WORLD_FAILED status: DB_E_MAP_XFORM_SETUP_FAILED Status: DB_E_MO_NO_XY Status value = 314000101, 12b742e5H -Error getting poly data... -Not all interpretation has valid locations... You will receive this error when selecting Mapview, horizons, turning on cartography, selecting grids, etc...


Solution:
Try these steps one at a time to clear up problem. Could be wrong projection set in MapView like in step 1., corrupted mapview and cartographic files in step 2., and/or xyz,contour,grids files that were made with the wrong projection as in step 3. 1.) Change/update projection of MapView to that of the project. -Select > Loading Parameters > Change Projection set @ YES. Exit. -Select the correct project projection. -Or, select Change Projection set to Project which will set the projection to the projects projection. -Try MapView procedure again. 2.) Delete MapView parameter file and Cartographic information files. -IES Data Management > Delete data from project > Delete multiple objects > Application Parameters. Exit. -Select MapView parameters and Carto-projection information files. Exit. -Exit all the way out of IES Data Management and select Contine on Session Manager to resume session. Try MapView procedure again. 3.) Delete the XYZ, contour and grid files with wrong projection: -In MapView > Save/Update > Delete, select xyz files, Exit and select ALL to delete xyz, contour and grid files all at once. Or you can delete them in IES Data Management: -IES Data Management > Delete data from project > Delete multiple objects > Mapping parameters. Exit. -Select xyz, contour and grid files with wrong projection. Exit. -Exit all the way out of IES Data Management and select Contine on Session Manager to resume session. Try MapView procedure again.
