Unable to bulk shift. Incorrect survey limits.
Description:
Error attempting a bulk shift within Computation Manager.
Unable to bulk shift.
Incorrect survey limits.
Solution:
This is usually related to a single 2D line within the survey.
This happens when a 2D line has missing CDPs within/or at the end of the
line, and the missing CDP's are padded during loading. A seismic report may
indicate the number of live traces in the line does not equal the traces
loaded.
To fix this problem:
Export the seismic data under DataManager> Seismic> SEGY Export, then delete the
seismic (DataManager> Seismic> Delete> select the 2D survey, 2D line and class,
and delete).
Then delete the navigation for the line ( DataManager> Map> 2D Line Locations>
Select Survey, line, then click Delete All, then Dismiss).
Then relaod the exported Seismic under DataManager> Seismic> Load Seismic, and
re-load the navigation under ( DataManager> Map> 2D Load Locations>).
The exported traces will show up as dead, rather than padded, after they have
been imported, and they can now be shifted.
