Error posting wellpath containing a synthetic: memory term AUTO failed.
Description:
Error posting wellpath containing a synthetic: memory term AUTO failed memory deallocation failed memory buffer has been corrupted
Solution:
PROBLEM: Related to the synthetic being shifted by an amount not divisible by ------- the sample rate. i.e. when the synthetic sample rate is the same as the seismic, the resampled trace has one more point than the original trace, thus causing the error message. For example: 22ms shift might cause the error dialog on 4ms data, but a 24ms shift should not produce the error. The synthetic is NOT corrupt and the message may be dismissed/ignored. WORKAROUND 1: If the synthetic was created in the IESX Synthetics package: ------------ Resample the synthetic to a 1 ms sample rate. 1.) Synthetics > Mode > Synthetics -select the sonic, density, sample rate, wavelet and Apply. 2.) File > Save > Synthetic Data -select 'Synthetic 1' from Synthetic tracks, type in a new Synthetic Class name and 'Save Synthetic class'. WORKAROUND 2: If the synthetic was imported from a third party package: ------------ Load the synthetic into IESX with a 1 ms sample rate. 1.) DataManager > Load Seismic -Loading mode = SEGY synthetic -Define input format... = set the Sample Interval to 1 ms. For specifics on changing the position of synthetics is Seis3DV/2DV refer to: Product: IESX Version: 10.x Application: Seis3DV/2DV SearchType: HowTo Synposis: How to change the position a synthetic in Seis3DV/2DV
