Nothing happens when trying to open SeisDV
Description:
After selecting any of the SeisDV options from the Application > Interpretation
menu in the IESX Session Manager, nothing happens. The computer appears to be
"thinking" but the window never opens. Basemap and the DataManager open fine
(and presumably all other options).
Solution:
The seismic was being shared into the project and the survey names had been
renamed in the project being shared from. During renaming the surveys, the shared
references were broken. Unsharing and resharing the seismic will allow you to view
the seismic. However, the interpretation will not move to the new surveys. In an IESX
project, the interpretation data is hung with the survey. Therefore, you will have to
either turn on crossposting when posting the interpretation, or export the interpretation
and load it back into the project with the newly named survey. Ultimately, it may be
better to just set the survey names back to what they were originally named.
