Description:
Error occours when starting IESX from the IESX Application window, By release or By project. User data area is allocated,Please clear project


Solution:
Message indicates that the current 'User's' data area is allocated, not necessarily the project data area. The most common reasons that 'User' data area could be locked are : 1.) The current user is accessing another project. 2.) The last time the user was accessing a project it was not closed out cleanly. In this case the 'User' data area needs to be cleared. 1.)Firstly check that the current user is not accessing another project. 2.)Dismiss the message and close the Session Manager. 3.)From the IESX Application window click on 'Deallocate data area',in the top left hand corner,before re-starting IESX. However,if the user was previously accessing the same project it will also be neccessary to deallocate the 'project' data area. See Error : Data area 'project_name' in use, allocated by 'user_name'. 1.)Firstly check that the current user is not accessing another project. 2.)Dismiss the message and close the Session Manager. 3.)From the IESX Application window, Select type 'By project' and select the project from the list. 4.)Click on 'Deallocate data area', in the top left hand corner, before re-starting IESX.
