READ_WRITE_GKIO_INVENTORY Generic IO error: %s

Description:
2D seismic master project with 2 clone projects shared to it. Application runs fine in the master project. Error is recieved when accessing either shared project. READ_WRITE_GKIO_INVENTORY Generic IO error: file %s

Solution:
GKIO represents input/output to the IESX database using a keyed access format. This is related to the index files of the IESX project. There are many things that will cause a "READ_WRITE_GKIO_INVENTORY" error: a) The primary DSL of the project is full b) Incorrect permissions on the DSLs c) A corrupted saved session d) Corrupted index files e) Exceeded number of files that can be open concurrently on the machine you are working on 1) Ensure your primary DSL is not full. Session Manager > Update - select the project that is giving the error and check the DSLs. If the primary is full, clear up some space on it. 2) Check permissions on DSLs. 3) Enter the project without using the Continue button. 4) If the problem still exists, use IESX Utilities, Option 12 to rebuild the index files. Refer to Product: IESX, Application: IESX_UTIL, Version: 10.2, Search Type: FAQ, Synopsis: What does Option #12: Rebuild Index do? 5) Check number of files that can be open simultaneously in IESX session. In an IESX Xterm type "limit" (without quotes). If 'descriptors' is less than 256, edit the descriptor limit in /home/gqs/setup_ies to 256 and restart IESX from the Geonet launcher. (IESX releases starting with 10.2.1 support larger number of descriptors - up to 1024. See 10.2.1 release notes for symptoms of problems caused by number of descriptors that is too low.)
