Topic:
Workarea callback failed.   File move failed.   String truncated.

Description:
Upon selection of Move Files in DataManager, user received this error message:
 
Workarea Callback failed
File moved failed
String truncated.

 

Solution:
There is a string limit in DataManager > Utilities > Move files.
Path_length + file_name + 13 must be less then 127.  Where the path_length is
the number of characters in the path to the file.  13 is the number of spaces
reserved to report the file size and spaces on the report line.  If this is
exceeded then you will receive the error message immediately upon selecting
DataManager > Move files.

Workaround: Move the files in unix, delete and repatch the project.

GeoFrame 3.x has the same limitations.
