Topic:
String truncated error when plotting.
Description:
Receive the following error when plotting from Basemap with horizon attribute posted:
ui_text_put_failed
invalid string value
string truncated
unable to perform cgm scaled plotting
Solution:
The name of the posted attribute is too long. This usually occurs when the
attribute has been created using SeisDV->Areal->Peak/Trough or Isochron.
Attributes are created with names created by concatenating the horizon name to
the operation name. The resulting attribute name is often too long.
You can do either of the operations below to correct error:
1.) Areal > Copy the horizon to one with a shorter name and rerun the operation.
2.) Rename the attribute by using Surface Transfer in Data Manager:

-Set transfer mode to Horizon attribute => Surface grid, type in grid name
     and click OK.
-Then set transfer mode to Surface grid => Horizon attribute, select the
grid you just made, type in the new (shorter) attribute name and click OK.
Fixed in GeoFrame 4.0.
