Topic:
"No borehole surface penetrations were found. No markers can be created."

Description:
Error message in Basemap trying to save penetrations as markers. Calculated
penetrations are already displayed yet an attempt to save them sometimes gives
the following error message: "No borehole surface penetrations were found. No
markers can be created."

Solution:
This error may have two possible reasons.
Try the following:
Make sure that the surface associated with markers that you are trying to save
is of type geologic as well as seismic.

If this does not help, you may have to delete existing map files and create a
new map. This problem has been fixed for GF 3.8. It has something to do with
bogus well layers created by IESX upgrader or existing in IESX 10.2 project
before upgrade.
