Topic:
Displays BasemapPlus Abnormal Termination Report using a clipping surface boundary

Description:
Trying to grid and contour interpretation using a clipping surface boundary.
Set up the grid and contour parameters and then say ok.  The grid starts to
process and then displays the BasemapPlus Abnormal Termination Report.

Solution:
Check the end of the report for a line that is similar to the following:

Map set SCRclip_map1 is locked by a process owned by off.

If this line is in the report, it is an indication that clipping failed due to a
file already being locked.  The file in question is a temporary file created
during the gridding process and is located in the project's Default directory or
in the CPS directory if the project has one.  The file will have a name like
SCRclip_map1 and most likely with a file type of .mcps.  If the type is .mcps,
it can be unlocked by running the command cps3punl filename.mcps from a GeoFrame
xterm; otherwise the file should just be deleted.  Once the file is either
unlocked or deleted, the user can grid and contour using a clipping surface boundary without error.
