Topic:
MT_E_TICS_SHOW FAIL, MT_E_TICS_DISPLAY_BORDER_XY FAIL, MT_E_TICS_WHOLE_MULT_FAIL

Description:
Plotting from Basemap results in the message above.  
This error occurs when the major and minor xy tick annotations are ON 
but the spacing is set to 0.        

Solution:
Select User => Map Annotations from the Basemap menu, click  XY Tick Annotation. 

Insert a value greater than 0 in the menu box for Major Tick Spacing.  

Click OK.  

Submission of the plot should no longer result in the above error messages.

Another variation of this error message is:
MT_E_TICS_SHOW FAIL
MT_E_TICS_DISPLAY_BORDER_LL FAIL
MT_E_TICS_WHOLE_MULT_FAIL

This error is corrected by clicking the Lat/Long Tick Annotation tab of the
Map Annotations menu and inserting a Major Tick Spacing greater than 0.
