Topic:
Somebody else has started an IESX session. Can not deallocate project.
Description:
When starting IESX session you get the following error: Somebody else has started an IESX session on this project. Only one IESX is allowed per project. Please try again later.
Solution:
The following ways to deallocate a project do not work: 1. Clear IESX project from Geonet. 2. In a GeoFrame Xterm type gf_users No information is returned on the project, as if it isn't allocated. 3. In a GeoFrame Xterm, type $CL [projectname] and the message says the project is not allocated. 4. In a Geoframe Xterm, type $CL -f [projectname] to force it to deallocate and the message insists the project is not allocated, then says DEALLOCATED, but you are still unable to open a session. 5. In a GeoFrame xterm type da_clear projectname, with similar results as $CL. Further options: 6. Check to see that you have write permission. 7. Delete the project_lock.dat manually from the Default directory. 8. Delete the saved sessions. 9. Delete the activities from the process manager. 10. Clear the CTREE directory in the project Home DSL (first Default Storage location). If all above fails: 11. Go to the general data manager and expand the project by "activity". It happens on occasion that the activities do not show up in the process manager, but still can be deleted from the General Data manager.
