Topic:
Trying to add or edit a fault boundary: Database object token field ID mismatch.

Description:
Trying to add or edit a fault boundary and getting the error: database object token field ID missmatch db_token [0,0,0] is incompatible with FID 101069010

Solution:
This error comes from trying to add/edit a fault boundary with no fault boundary set posted. To check, go to Post > Interpretation > Fault Boundary and check to see if there is a set in the Selected Data Box. If there is nothing there, click on the file folder next to the surface you want to post the fault boundary from in the Available Data box and select the fault boundary set to post. If there are no sets, then close the Post > Interpretation box and go to: 1. Edit > Fault Boundary > Manage Sets and toggle to Create Set. 2. Select the horizon you want the set to be associated with. 3. Put in a name for the set and click OK. 4. Now go to Post > Interpretation and post the fault boundary set. 5. Then you can go to Edit > Fault boundary > add/edit to make your fault boundary.
