Topic:
No results display after running GeoFeature Mapping on depth data.
Description:
Running GeoFeature Mapping (Correlation Mapping of earlier versions) does not display data after the volume operation is complete. The basemap is blank.
Solution:
GeoFeature Mapping needs to have the search window set to a minimum of two times the sample rate. This applies to time or depth data. When selecting domain (depth), survey, and input class, the default search parameters are not changed relative to the data class chosen. The default correlation window is 60, the default search window is 8. The sample rate for depth data is most likely not 8 feet. Review the sample rate in the Seismic Report window for the depth volume. Set the search window to a minimum of 2X the sample rate. Attributes will be calculated on the depth volume. The spectrum bar title for depth delta or depth will show cmap_timedelta_0_0 or cmap_time_0_0 but the values are in depth.
