Markers are posting twice with a slight offset
Description:
The same markers are posted twice along a borehole path and are slightly offset
from one another.
Solution:
This occurs when post markers with both synthetics and with the Borehole
Appearance Set is toggled on. (Choose "Display geologic horizons" in synthetics
options and "use geological horizons" in the Borehole Appearance Set.) In
effect, posting markers along borehole paths twice. The offset that is seen
between the two markers is caused by a difference in the positioning of the
marker lables. For markers (Borehole Appearance Set), the lable is positioned
to the right of the tick. The synthetics marker lable for the geologic horizon
posting is displayed to the top and right of the tick. When the two are posted
together, it looks like one marker is slightly lower than the other. To fix
this double display, go to Define > Borehole > Appearance > Vertical > Synthetic
options and toggle off Display geologic horizons. Click OK and then update the
appearance. The the second set of markers will no longer be posted.
