Snapshot and scaled plotting fails with error Function g_cgm_dev_open failed

Description:
Snapshot and scaled plotting within IESX gives the following error messages:

  Function g_cgm_dev_open failed. Function g_dev_closed failed.
  Eror when closing CGM device. CGM device drawable size not defined.
  Function g_drawable_create failed. Unable to create CGM Drawable
  Unable to initialize CGM device. Function g_cgm_file_open failed.

Solution:
Open GeoFrame xterm and check the value for IESX_METAPATH. 
This should be a directory with permissions 777. 
If the directory does not exist, create it. 
If the directory does exist chmod 777 IESX_METAPATH.
