Topic:
How to set the color bar to best display coherency cube data?
Description:
User wants to know how to set the full color spectrum for a user-defined
amplitude range so that he can see more color variation on his data in VI mode.
Solution:
Use the following settings on the SeisDV > Define > Display Specs menu
1) Type => user
2) Source => trace
3) Amplitude => 400
4) Enter User min and User max amplitude values
This will position the user reference values at each end of the spectrum.
(If an Amplitude value of 100 is used, only 1/4 of the color spectrum would
be used for the specified amplitude range. The user reference values would
be placed at 1/4 of the distance from the center of the spectrum).
5) Zero Reference => 0.0 or user-defined to shift the spectrum.
Zero will not always be in the center of the spectrum.
