What is the "Save attributes" option under Define > Interpretation used for?
Description:
Solution:
The "Save attributes" option is used to save quality control attributes that
AutoPix generates as it picks an event. The attributes are generated whether
you choose to save the attributes or not, but they are deleted if you select
"No" for the "Save attributes" option.
The saved attributes are:
AMP2_class: This is the amplitude of the event below the original pick. If the
original pick is a peak, it is the amplitude of the trough beneath the peak. If
the original pick is a zero crossing (+/-), it is the amplitude of the trough
beneath the zero crossing. The amplitude attribute name is followed by the
class of seismic data because each trace may have different amplitude values
for different classes (versions) of seismic data, even though a horizon may only
have one time value per trace.
QUALITY: The QUALITY attribute shows the cross correlation coefficient for each
trace that was picked by AutoPix. If the Quality factor (set in Parameters) is
set to 0.5, then the QUALITY attribute will contain values between 0.5 and 1.0
where 1.0 is a perfect correlation.
xxDT: A delta time attribute is created between the events above and below the
picked event. If the event picked is a peak then a TTDT attribute will be
created for the delta time between the trough above and below the picked peak.
If a trough is picked then a PPDT attribute will be created for the delta time
between the peak above and below the picked trough. If a +/- zero crossing is
picked, then a PTDT attribute is created, and if a -/+ zero crossing is picked,
then a TPDT attribute is created.
