Why are my marker values plotted twice in 2 different sizes? 

Description:
 

Solution:
The system may be trying to post the markers once as an xyz data set and
  a second time as the "data points @current" item. 

1.) Posting > Posting order.
    - Remove data points @current by highlighting data points @current.
    - Select remove.
    - Exit.

2.) Redisplay by selecting the Map display icon above the contour icon.
