Topic:
Why do the surface slices appear all white (or all the same color)?
Description:
Solution:
You may have rolled into a time zone where the surface slices have not been generated. Check the time and cdp interval where the surface slices have been generated in DataManager under Seismic > Surface Slice. The time range, CDP range and Line range information is listed in the upper right hand side of the Surface slice volume generation menu. Also in SurfaceSlice SeisXDV, under Define> Surface Slice> check the "No event" color. If your slice is all this color, you do not have surface slices generated in this area. If all surface slices are the same color, and you have slices generated in the time range you are viewing, check for a spike in the data. For information on finding a spike in your volume, see entry: Product: IESX Application: Data Manager Synopsis: Blank time slices - what's wrong?
