What is LPView?
Description:
Solution:
LPView is IESX's log editing package, petrophysical package, tops interpretation, and only place to output markers to an XYZ file for MapView to pickup so that you can map them. Below is a list of the capabilities of LPView. Log Data Management #1 > This covers everything from modifying a curves description, listing curves in a well, editing your well path, and getting a well summary report. Log Preparation #2 > This is the log editing portion of LPView. Below is a list of some of the options and a brief description. 1.) Log editing (Edit Log #1) This includes log cutting and splicing, range limiting, blocking a log, merging logs, and general editing of logs. 2.) Environmental corrections (Environ. Correction #2) This also includes shale baseline corrections, matrix conversions for NPHI and DPHI, and range limiting. 3.) Tops Interpretation (Tops Interpretation #3) Graphical tops interpretation picking using multiple logs and multiple wells. 4.) Compute TVD #4. Converts log curves to TVD from MD using the deviation survey loaded for the well. Note: This gets flagged in the IESX DataManager as MD and needs to be changed to TVD before using the log in IESX. 5.) Compute Pseudo log #5. DT to Density conversions, resistivity to DT conversions, SP to RW. 6.) Math Operations #6. Curve normalization, logical operations, mathematical operations on one or two curves. 7.) Resampling #7. Resampling of log curves. Log Annalysis #3 (PetroView) > A licensed petrophysical product integrated with IESX. Below is a brief list of the capabilities of Log Analysis. Crossplots, histograms, dipmeter and tad pole displays, shear wave calculations, fluid substitutions, lithology interpretation, marker mapping (in MapView) This was built as an IES program, and will look and feel different than the full motif IESX programs and the output of data should me carefully examined in IESX.
