Topic:
Why are the traces on the scaled plot clipped?

Description:
Peaks are plotting fine but the troughs are clipped.

Solution:
The problem could be the amplitude scale of the plot. If the first trace on the line has very weak troughs, the amplitude scale of the plot could clip the troughs on the plot. IESX scales the entire plot using the first trace specified in the 'Trace ranges'. So if the first trace is blank or has a spike this will cause the entire plot to be scaled incorrectly. To change the trace range go to > Seis3DV/2DV > Plot > Scaled plot >Seismic specifications and set the trace range to start at a trace without a spike or blank trace whatever the case may be. This has been fixed with PIP plotting which is available in GeoFrame 3.0.
