What are Computed Seismic Attributes (CSA)?
Description:
What are Computed Seismic Attributes and what can I use them for?
Solution:
CSA's are seismic attributes calulated over a time window,
a horizon/time window, or a horizon/horizon window. The module
extracts geophysical attributes from the specified interval. These
may have lithological or hydrocarbon significance.
CSA's allow for quick analysis of large volumes of data.
Input: Specified window (time, horizon/time, horizon/horizon, area)
Output: Computation Manager specified horizon attribute viewable in Basemap.
Note: Attributes are calculated only where a trace has a value, or in the
case of horizon/horizon windows, where a trace has a value for both
horizons.
