Topic:
Why does my dip/azimuth attribute post on only a small fraction of my survey?
Description:
A horizon was interpreted over irregularly spaced intervals and then the dip/azimuth operations were run on the horizon. However, dip and azimuth were only calculated for a small fraction of the entire survey extent.
Solution:
Calculations for dip and azimuth are done on adjacent traces. Therefore, if the interpretation is irregularly spaced, the dip/azimuth calculations will not cover the entire extent of the survey, but only that where the interpretation covers adjacent traces.
