Solution:
A modulus is a predefined expression. The purpose of the modulus is to 
calculate the cdp number in a 3D survey when the cdp number in the trace 
header increases at a constant increment throughout the survey.

The modulus option can only be used on a survey in which all lines are of equal
length (fixed traces per line). Also, the cdp bin number must be present in 
the headers.
