This function allows you to create your own colormaps in either of two ways. By editing an ASCII file or by exporting an existing colormap from an IESX project to an ASCII file. You may import or export colormaps to or from only the following IESX applications: Basemap, GeoViz, and Seis2DV/3DV. 1.) If the number of color is greater than the color for that specific colormap group, only the number of colors in the colormap group will be loaded. 2.) Maximum colors allowed by color group: Seismic: 31 colors Basemap: 24 colors GeoViz: 256 colors PROCEDURE: 1.) IESX_Util 2.) Select Option #1 > Initialize access to data area. Type in project name and password. 3.) Select data area type > Exploration 4.) Select option #36 > Colormap import/export 5.) Select colormap group, colormap from group and Export. 6.) Export will export the colormap to disk file.
