Can I generate time slices that overlap with different time increments?

Description:
For example, I wish to generate 3 time slices as follows:
 
One time slice over the entire survey.
Two smaller slices that overlap in other areas.
I would like each slice to have a different time increment.
   

Solution:
Yes.
1. Overlapping time slices can be created.  
   The current time slices information will indicate the overlap.

No.
2. You cannot create time slices with multi-time increments.
   Whether they overlap or not.
