How do you export 3D navigational data for just one inline?
Description:
Solution:
1.) In Seis3DV select Define > Path Save to save the inline as a path.
2.) Create a 2D line from the path in DataManager > 2D Seismic > Generate2D.
3.) Then follow the procedures for exporting 2D navigational data through
Computational Manager. You do not need to select any options on the
Computation Manager menu, just select 'Ok'.
- Select 'Survey', 2D survey and lines for export.
- Select input class and type in new class for output. Click Ok.
- Select Mappable Seismic Statistics and select any option.
- Click 'Start'. This will create a horizon called linevolume_stat that can
be exported through DataManager > Interpretation > Export.
4.) In DataManager > Interpretation > Export, you must modify the 2d export
format:
- Select 'Select/define format', select 2d_ci7.ifdf or 2d_ci7m.ifdf.
- Select 'Data format', toggle on 'Other Attribute 1' instead of
'Amplitude'. You must switch off Time, and you can turn off any other
information not required. Click Ok.
- Type in name in 'Format file name' and select 'Save'.
- Select 'Ok'.
- Select all other information needed on 'Export interpretation data' menu,
including horizon "linevolume_stat", type in a new file name, and then
select 'Export'.
