Topic:
Log curve NAME not available for selection in Synthetics.

Description:
MB3/Content... in the Log Curve Track - NO log curves available for selection. The Content list only contains '=>' on each line. If the '=>' is selected a log curve will post. Log curves are selectable Seis2DV/3DV.

Solution:
SYMPTOM: Problem in GeoFrame 3.1.2, the NAME field of the Log Curves Data Manager is not populated when the curves are loaded through the Generic ASCII Loader from a LAS file. The Log Panel in the Synthetics application keys on the NAME attribute for the log curve rather than the CODE attribute. To update the NAME attribute for each log curve: 1.) Select the Log Curves Data Manager from the Data Management Catalog. - Application Manager > Data > Log Curves Data Manager. 2.) Select Boreholes... - select borehole. OK. 3.) Select Attributes to Display... - select the 'Name' attribute from the 'Available' list and move to the 'Selected' list. OK. 4.) Update the NAME column with the same mnemonics as the CODE column. Apply. RESOLUTION: Fixed in GeoFrame 3.1.4 for the Generic ASCII Loader to load the NAME attribute.
