Why are the grids and contours not honoring the Map Appearance ordering?

Description:
Why are the grids and contours not honoring the Map Appearance layer ordering
and post on top of all data in Basemap?

Solution:
When grids and contours are first created and displayed in basemap as the
temporary model, they are placed on top of all data.  The grids and contours
need to be saved and reposted to honor the Map Appearance settings. 

 Gridding > Save as, type in the grid and contour names, click OK.  
 Post > Interpretation > Grid/Contours, select grid and contour -> OK.

Make sure the spectrum bar is set to Grid and then click OK.
This will post the grids and contours and will honor the Map Appearance layer
ordering.
