Topic:
Why is the saved session not working?
Description:
User exits IESX Session Manager via Close > Exit, saving his current session.
When they try to continue that session later it does not come up in the saved
state.
Solution:
A corruption has occured to the users saved session file. They will need to be
deleted as follows:
1. Open an xterm window.
cd to /home/gqs/iesx_config
2. Type ls and hit return to list the user directories.
cd to the user directory.
3. Type ls and hit return and 8 files should be listed:
db_file_key.fpb
db_cat_key.fpb
db_file_key.idx
db_cat_key.idx
db_container.cat
db_cat_key.dat
username.da
db_file_key.dat
4. Remove the 7 files beginning with "db_". This will delete the saved sessions
for all of the users projects. The username.da can also be deleted and then
recreated. However, it is not necessary if the problem is related only to the
saved sessions.
When the user re-enters IESX the files will be recreated and the saved session
should work properly from now on.
