Why is the Fault Boundary Mode in the Grid Editor not working?
Description:
Grid and fault boundaries are posted.
Select Gridding -> Model Editor... -> Select the grid to edit from the list of
Available Data to Edit-> OK -> From Grid Editor window select Fault Boundary
Mode -> Move cursor to desired fault boundary -> Click mouse -> Nothing happens
Solution:
Only the fault boundaries contained by the gridded horizon are available for use
in the editing of the grid.
Once the grid has been selected from the list of Available Data to Edit, the
fault boundaries that can be used for editing will have small circles at each of
the connecting points for the fault boundary.
The fault boundaries do not have to be set as preferred for the editing
of the gridded horizon.
To find out which fault boundary sets are contained by a particular horizon,
go to Post Interpretation>Fault Boundaries and click on the horizon of interest.
You may also go to Edit -> Fault Boundaries... -> Manage Set -> Select
the horizon and the list of boundary sets will be listed under Select a
Boundary Set.
