What does Option #57: Correct duplicate seismic brick maps do?
Description:
This option repairs:
-seismic which has been assigned to multiple storage locations.
When this happens a user sees portions of seismic data repeated
on the interpretation display.
-storage locations which are assigned to a non-existent data area.
When this happens the following error message is received:
Cannot display seismic line.
Volume in use by another process.
This function works by removing all references to the affected seismic.
NOTE: The affected seismic must then be reloaded. A report is generated that
lists the portions of the seismic deleted and is written to the Default
GeoFrame project directory.
Solution:
PROCEDURE:
1.) Option #1 - Initialize access to data area
- Enter the project name and password
- Select Exploration as Data Area Type
2.) Option #57 - Correct duplicate seismic brick maps
- Select a survey(s). When 2D survey was selected, then select
individual 2D lines.
- Select a class(s).
- Select Domain.
- Select 1 of 4 options:
0. Report bad bricks to screen and delete.
1. Display and save bad brick information only.
2. Delete all bad bricks.
3. Save bad brick information to file only.
- Enter a name/directory to save the Report to.
3.) Option #2 - Terminate access to the data area
4.) Option #99 - Exit IESX_Utilities
