Topic:
Can you shift a deviated synthetic?
Description:
A deviated synthetic is posted along the borehole and cannot be shifted in this
manner in Seis%DV.
Solution:
No. But if you deselect the option 'Along borehole' in Define > Borehole
Appearance > Synthetic options to post the synthetic, then you can apply a shift
but the synthetic traces will be vertical. To bulk shift a deviated sythetic,
you can either apply a bulk shift in the Synthetic module and re-save the
synthetic to display in Seis%Dv, or if you have a licence for Well Edit, you can
shift a deviated synthetic in depth or time and save the results.
