Topic:
What are the required fields to ASCII import interpretation?
Description:
In exporting data in a multi vendor environment, it is useful to know the minimum required fields IESX will need in the output file in order to later import the data.
Solution:
2d ASCII interpretation data: 2d Horizon and contact data: Horizon name See Note 1 Data type Line Name See Note 1 SP Z-value(time/depth) See Note 2 Optional Amplitude Value Required 3d Horizon Interpretation Data: Horizon name See Note 1 Data Type Survey name See Note 1 Line number CDP z-value See Note 2 Optional Amplitude value Required Fault Interpretation Data: Fault Name Survey Name Line name (2d only) x,y,z values Segment-ID Required Fault Boundaries Data: Horizon name x-coordinate y-coordinate z-value(time/depth) Segment-ID Fault name Note 1. When using the override option, the survey, line name for 2d and horizon may be selected. They will not need to be in the file. Note 2. The z-value must be loaded as float, not integer.
