How can I generate a variance cube from a flattened volume?

Description:

Solution:
Computational Manager in general does not allow selection of flattened volumes
for computational operations on volumes.

Work Around:
1. Apply flattening to the original seismic volume.
2. Data Manager > Change class ... rename the flattened class (otherwise the
export of the flattened volume to SEGY will not work).
3. Export the flattened volume as SEGY then load it back in to the survey as a new class.
4. Generate the variance cube on the newly loaded volume.
