Solution:
The "Share project ..." button allows you to restrict access to the seismic data
of a project.  Two options are available:
a) "Share without questioning"
b) "Ask for password".
 
Setting to "Share without questioning" allows all users to have access to the
seismic data in your project without being prompted for a password.  Setting it
to "Ask for password" prompts the user for a password before being allowed to
proceed further. Only users with the password to the project will be allowed to
share the data.
