Topic:
Where are IESX 10.2 horizon interpretation import/export format files stored?
Description:
A default format file may be inadvertently deleted from a project when replacing it with a user-defined format file for importing data. If the file has not been copied prior to being replaced, it no longer is available to the project.
Solution:
This file can be recovered in two ways: 1) Copy it from the home DSL of another project. 2) Copy it from the /home/gqs/exetree_sunsparc/level_10p2/iesxsupport directory. If the file has been replaced in the $IESXSUPPORT directory, it may be obtained by calling GeoQuest Customer Support. Export/import format files are created for a project the first time the option is accessed in IESX > Data Manager. The format files are stored in the project's home DSL. If a user-defined format file is created for exporting and then copied over to one of the default format files for importing, it overwrites that default format file. The file is lost unless it has been saved/copied before being replaced.
