Why are the amplitudes not being extracted for a horizon?

Description:
In User > Preferences > 'Auto horizon actions' is set to snap then extract. They
pick a horizon and when they post the amplitude attribute on the Basemap, the
amplitudes does not post.   

Solution:
Check the Snap window paramters under Define > Horizon. If they are set to 0 ms
or 0 ft, then a amplitude will not be extracted.
