Solution:
1.) The maximum number of points per polygon when loading fault boundaries
    has been increased from 1000 to 32000.

2.) User defined formats generated from Interpretation > Export
    can now be used in Interpretation > Import.  The saved export format must
    have one of the 'default format' names in the saved user defined format  
    file.  (300541)
         For example:  faultm_khp.iudf
         
            where 'faultm' is the default name for 'faultm.ifdf' 
            and 'khp' is the user defined portion of the new format file
