Topic:
How does the "convergent blanking" algorithm work?

Description:

Solution:
The convergent blanking algorithm works in two parts. First, it uses the convergent algorithm to do the gridding. Then it uses the fault boundaries as clipping surfaces. Therefore the original data within the fault boundaries is used to do generate the initial grid. The data within the fault boundaries is subsequently deleted.
