Topic:
Is the clipping surface save menu limited in the number of horizons seen?

Description:
A clipping surface boundary must be saved to a particular horizon. All of the horizons do not show up in the surfaces selection box under save. Is there a limit to the number of horizons that can be seen in the clipping surface Save menu?

Solution:
Currently there is a 300 horizon limit to the number of surfaces that can be seen in the Surfaces selection box of the Save Surface Boundary menu. This includes all surfaces - horizon, faults and markers. The surfaces are listed in alphabetical order up to 300 names. The number of surfaces, even in a small project, can very easily exceed 300. An enhancement request has been submitted with no known implementation date. The workaround is to rename the horizon to be used to save the Clipping Surface. Example: Put the letter 'a' in front of the name. It will then appear at or near the top of the list.
