Topic:
How does 'User Reference' Amplitude Normalization actually work?

Description:

Solution:
The user-supplied reference amplitude value normalizes the data on a trace-by-trace basis. The maximum amplitude of each trace is reset to the amplitude of the Reference Value, and the rest of the trace is scaled accordingly. The actual equation used on each trace is : Normalized Value =(New Reference Max/Old Max for each trace) x Each sample value
