Solution:
To merge interpretation from project A to project B do the following steps:
1.) Go to project B, then share project A to it. This is done by going to
Application > DataManager > Seismic > Share. Pick project A > pick the survey
where the interpretation is, then press the Share button at the bottom.
2.) After sharing seismic data go to DataManager > Interpretation > Merge:
On the Source side,
-Select: Source project (project A)
Source survey
If 2D data interpretation - select all the lines
Source horizons (you can select all if you wish)
Source faults (you can select all if you wish)
-Click on the following buttons: Contacts, Unassigned contacts & Fault traces.
-Check under the 'Specify attributes' button to see that all the attributes you
want are selected.
On the Destination side,
-Select: Destination survey
-Click the 'Merge' button.
3.) Now you will want to unshare Project A from Project B.
This is done from Project B, Application > Data Manager > Seismic > Share.
Select Project A from 'Remove outgoing references' and click the 'Unshare'
button. Dismiss.
4.) Exit the IESX project and run IESX_Utils to delete any duplicate fault
contacts/cuts/traces. You will find the iesx_util.csh application under the
IESX Application Selection window. Run the following options:
1 - Initialize access to a data area (Provide the project name and password
when prompted.)
23 - Delete duplicate contacts
24 - Delete duplicate fault cuts
25 - Delete duplicate fault traces
2 - Terminate Access to a data area
99 - Exit IESX_Util
