Topic:
How to time shift faults.

Description:
After shifting horizons and seismic data, the user now wants to shift the
faults.

Solution:
The shifting can be done in the MapView application:
1.) Session Manager > Application > Surface Modeling > MapView

2.) click on the 'SELECT' button

3.) click on the 'FAULT CUT' button; select the desired fault from the list; 

4.) click on 'XYZ OPERATIONS'

5.) click on 'BIAS SCALE'; enter the time shift desired in the 'SCALE FACTOR
( A ) text box; enter a desired 'RESULTANT SURFACE NAME' if desired; click the
'EXIT' button

6.) click on 'SAVE POINTS'

7.) click on 'IESX FAULT CUT'; enter name if desired and click on 'EXIT'; select
the desired color and symbol; click on the up arrow icon, or the 'EXIT' button
at the bottom right of the screen

8.) the saved fault (which has now been shifted) will be available for posting
in the seismic
