How to output well logs in ASCII format.

Description:
 

Solution:
1.) Session Manager > Application > IES Data Management*

2.) OUTPUT data from project

3.) WELL LOG data in IES format (or WELL LOG data in USER-DEFINED card image 
     format)

4.) Select a WELL; select a well from the list and hit the Return on your 
    keyboard

5.) Select LOGS;  select a log from the list and hit the Return on your
    keyboard, repeat to select multiple logs and EXIT when finished selecting
    desired log(s)

6.) Set output PARAMETERS; make the necessary settings, then EXIT

7.) Output data

An ASCII file will be created with a file name called 'output.dat' in the
project home directory.   To find the project home directory:
  1.) Session Manager > Application > IES Data Management
  2.) Execute management UTILITIES
  3.) Execute OS COMMANDS in a subprocess
  4.) at the prompt, enter 'cd $PROJECT'; the project home DSL will print out
     (exit at the prompt to get back into the IES Data Managment menu, and EXIT        
     to get out of IES Data Management).


* IES Data Management is not a Motif-based application.  Therefore you will use
   arrow keys and the Return key on your keyboard rather than the mouse.
 . To move across a screen and toggle through options, use the left and right
   arrow keys
 . To activate your selection(s) and return to the preceding screen, move the
   cursor to EXIT and press Return on your keyboard.
 . To return to the preceding screen without activating your selection(s), move
   the cursor to QUIT and press Return on your keyboard.
