Solution:
1.) LPView > Log Preparation #2 

2.) Resampling #7 > Choose your curve > enter your new sample rate, exit.

3.) Save Data #5 > this displays the "modify curve header information" which
 allows you to edit any log header information. After doing so, exit. This
 appends "Resampling" to the log name. If there is already a "Resampling"
 appended you will be prompted to create a new name or overwrite the original
 name.
