How to generate a 2D line from 3D for Mistie.
Description:
Solution:
1.) Create a series of traverses that would tie with the 2D data and save them
as a traverse path.
2.) In DataManager > Seismic > Generate 2D, select the saved paths, the 2D
survey for output, and the class. You have a choice of using the nearest trace
to the path to represent the path or interpolating the nearest four traces to
create an averaged new trace.
Note: You can create a 2D survey to put these new lines in through DataManager >
2D surveys > Create 2D survey.
Now you can run Mistie between your original 2D data and your new 2d survey that
contains what samples are from the 3D. Once you determine the parameters that
need to be adjusted, you can use Mistie Analysis or Computation Manager to Bulk
Shift or Phase Shift the data.
