How to create a depth map using marker velocities.

Solution:
Prerequisites: Wells must have a checkshot or DVT associated. Markers are
loaded/created in depth.
1.) Select > Markers > Velocity.
- Select tops
- Select source(s) and exit.
2.) Grid markers: Edit > Grid Contour, adjust parameters and exit.
3.) Grid time horizon: Edit > Grid Contour, adjust parameters and exit.
4.) Multiply time and velocity grid by selecting Grid Operations > Combine.
- Toggle Grid operation to multiply.
- Scale #1 units leave to none. (defaults to grids units).
- Scale for Grid #2 (velocity) leave to 1.
- Scale #2 units leave to none. (defaults to grids units)
- Scale for Grid #1 (time) type in .5 to compute one-way time.
- Toggle Input Grid to List.
- Type name in Resultant Surface Name.
- Type description in Title, optional.
- Grid #1 Fault Handling and Grid #2 Fault Handling need to be set if
you have fault traces.
- Grid Extent Handling - determine which grid extent to use and Exit.
- Select the velocity grid, select yes to make current data.
- Select the time grid, select yes to make current data.
- Select the contour icon to display.
