Topic:
How to create a borehole set that covers only a specific area.
Description:
User has over 4000 boreholes in his project and only wants to display boreholes over the working area to speed up posting.
Solution:
In Basemap Plus: First, post all boreholes: - Select Define> Boreholes> Manage borehole sets> click on Select All, type ALL in for Name, then click Create, then click Close. - Select Post> Boreholes> click on ALL in the Borehole Set box, then click on Def_Borehole_app in the Appearance Set box, then click on the down arrow, and click OK 1) Select Define> Boreholes> Create Borehole Set from Map 2) Under Selection Mode, toggle the radio button for Polygon, and enter a Set name and Description for that borehole set. *At this point, zoom in on your area of interest, and move the Create Borehole Set from Map dialog box so it is out of the way (or close it, it will remain active and can be brought back by clicking MB3, then select control). 3) Using MB1, define a polygon around your area of interest, then click MB3, and select Break (at this time the Boreholes Selected dialog box will be populated with the boreholes inside the polygon. 4) Select Create, then Close the dialog box. The borehole set can now be posted using the procedure described above.
